What we bake
Sourdough
A long, slow rise and a dark crust. Loaves come out at 7 and again at 11.
Pastry
Croissants, pain au chocolat and seasonal fruit tarts, made with butter and nothing else.
Cakes to order
Birthday and celebration cakes, three days' notice. Call to talk it through.
A small shop that does a few things well
We opened in 2012 with one oven and a short list. The list is still short, because we would rather make six things properly than twenty things in a hurry.
Everything is mixed, shaped and baked here, by people you will see behind the counter.

- No. Everything is sold over the counter, and it is better fresh.
- Can I order a cake?
- Yes, with three days' notice. Call us and we will go through sizes and flavours.
